The conventional styled picnic table can be seen in almost every park land setting. These all-in-one settings comprise of a table top combination and a fixed wooden bench seat.  These are by far the most economical settings available.

With the vast range of options and sizes, this outdoor timber furniture is still all made to order so odd shapes and lengths are always possible. The picnic table combinations is ideally suited to seating 6 to 8 people but wider and longer combinations of this outdoor furniture can accommodate up to 18 people.

Available in a combination of treated pine or various hardwoods this outdoor timber furniture is designed for public areas that need to withstand constant heavy use. Combinations of different wooden bench seats widths allows for additional comfort and wheelchair accessibility can be integrated into the larger table designs. For Kindergartens and primary schools a shorter version is also available to make it easier for the little folk to sit and eat.

The solid structure and stiff bracing makes these wooden tables ideal for the hospitality industry, or other sectors where heavy constant use is expected. The selection of durable timber also means that these tables can withstand the harsh Australian climate.

We have phased out the fresh cut hardwood in our conventional picnic table and migrated to a fully seasoned and kiln dried hardwood that will retain its beauty for years to come. All our hardwood conventional picnic tables will now be in Spotted Gum Hardwood. The timber is solid sections in a 45mm thickness. A very solid construction in multiple sizes and all with wider 285mm double plank seats as a standard.

These can be supplied in raw timber or oiled finish. Whilst the cost of seasoned hardwood is slightly more expensive than fresh cut hardwood, the stability of the timber ensures the tables will look good from day one and remain that way for years to come. Shrinkage, checking and cracking associated with fresh hardwoods are no longer an issue.
